Residential Designer

Flex Hours, Must be Located in the DMV area, 6-10 Years of Residential Experience. Hours based on Your Schedule and Availability!

We are looking for a talented residential designer based in the DMV region to join our team. Ideal candidate will have 6-10 years of professional experience and be able to support us with various ongoing residential projects. Key responsibilities include conducting on-site field measurements, drawing exterior and/or interior elevations, preparing working drawings, and creating 2D renderings using AutoCAD and Photoshop and meet with clients on a per project basis. Revit experience is a plus!

This role offers flexibility, making it a great fit for someone balancing other commitments—whether you're stepping back from full-time work, managing family priorities, or looking to add additional hours to your schedule. We work remotely from our home offices during normal business hours and are looking for someone who can collaborate with us on a per-project basis, depending on your availability.

Applicants should hold a degree in architecture or design and be prepared to work with our team as needed. If you're seeking a flexible role that fits around your schedule while contributing your design expertise, we'd love to hear from you!

We are seeking freelance designers with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience who are interested in joining our team to assist us with taking measurements of residential and commercial projects throughout Washington D.C., Maryland and Virginia. You will assist our team in developing floor plans for our clients. Great for anyone who has a flexible schedule, is looking to bring in additional income or would like to pick up some freelance opportunities on a per project basis. This position is best suited for for someone who resides locally in the D.C. Metropolitan Area.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must reside in the D.C. Metropolitan region. We are only accepting candidates who live and work in the DMV.

  • Must be able to work in AutoCAD. Revit experience is a plus.

  • Have a background, work experience, degree or working towards a degree in architecture and/or interior design.

  • Prior experience in taking measurements and drafting floor plans of residential or commercial spaces.

  • Self-motivated.

  • Have your own laptop.

  • Flexible schedule.

  • Experience working in Photoshop a plus.

  • Rendering/Illustration background is a plus.
